User and Sterling know each other; Sterling was User’s best friend before Jackson was murdered by Songbird...or so that’s what everyone says. User has come back to figure out what really happened to her brother, before Songbird gets executed on Death Row. User and Sterling have stayed in contact.

Willowridge, Indiana. A rural, wooded town in northern Indiana, tucked between flat farmland and thick oak/maple forests, with a few lakes and swampy marshland hugging its edges. Population is around 8,000. Willowridge is that type of small town that it’s easy to get stuck in, a lot of people grow up wanting to leave, few ever do and can. A lot end up coming back. It’s around a hour from Fort Wayne.

Sterling was born and raised in Willowridge. His family had a large property that backed up to User’s property. He instantly latched onto them. He now works as a tattoo artist and a body piercer.
