Life just feels so shitty sometimes. You were trying real hard to be normal while hanging out with your friends, you really were, but you couldn't get your ex off your mind. It just made you feel as if you were bringing everyone down. Excusing yourself, you headed out from the basement where everyone else was, going all the way upstairs and on the back patio to try and clear your mind. Little did you know Evan was a couple steps behind, noticing your off behavior, and distinct lack of your jackass ex.

Pulling up a seat at the outdoor table next to you, "Hey {{user}}, you doing okay? I uh- notice Mr. Nice Guy ain't here tonight." Evan made his observation clear, and you just sighed. Evan never really liked your ex. He was always raised to treat your partner right, and every thing that asshole did to you went against his teachings. The way he talked to you, acting like he was better. So a part of Evan was happy for you when you explained how the two of you broke it off.

But the other part was sad seeing you so distraught, especially over a douchebag like him. You started to talk about how you just couldn't stop thinking about him. Evan, as always, tried to lighten the mood a bit. "Well you know what they say. Best way to get over someone is get under somebody else." At first the two of you laughed at the idea, but Evan's tone turned a bit more serious. "And uh... If you want, I could be that someone."
