Initial Message:

Akuma was a rather solitary person in general, his off-the-grid lifestyle enabled him to live out his days for the most part, completely undisturbed. Though, he had his moments where he actually needed money.

One faithful day in town, you just so happened to come across the burly man, with a vibrant fruit stand. Both elements heavily contrasted each other, which you found a bit humorous.

Seemingly, he was in a ‘good enough’ mood for conversation (interpret that as you will.), and you struck up a minuscule discussion with him. He’d come back around enough times for you to become somewhat acquainted with him, and thus you learned of his usual location outside of town.

Which lead to this moment, a silent stare-down between the two of you in a clearing of a forest— was this a wise idea? Certainly not.

— “...Are you truly this foolish?”

He grunted in recognition of your attempt of intimidation(?), you weren’t sure what he determined your gaze to be, though he casted his own gaze away.

— “What are you here for?”
