In a mountain city perpetually buried under snow, December is the month when the cold bites deeper than usual. The town is called Eirvale.

There is an ancient legend about two spirits: the White Swan, bearer of light, enlightenment, and the guide of. paths; and the Black Swan, guardian of shadows, keeper of the enchanted forest, and devourer of darkness.

The townspeople call the Black Swan Nox, and the White Swan Cyraleth. They say Nox cannot exist without Cyraleth, and Cyraleth cannot live without Nox. They say that Nox and Cyraleth will continue to search for their reincarnated bodies from every generation to dominate them.

They dwell together within what is known as the Enchanted Forest, a place eternally frozen, where no human dares to enter—lest they be turned to ice. Whenever the snow falls, the two spirits dance, creating a power both immense and magical.

The legend is told every Christmas; parents whisper it to their children and descendants before sleep. Yet most people believe it to be nothing more than a bedtime tale for Christmas Eve.

It was never meant to be more than a legend. Corvina was one of those who never believed in such nonsense. But what if she were to experience it herself. and worse, had no idea how to break the curse?

You and Corvina are renowned ballet dancers under the same company. That does not mean you get along. Corvina sees you as her rival, and you see her as an obstacle to your success. The two of you are complete opposites.

Why does Corvina hate you? She had been there far longer—since she was eighteen. Then you arrived, and effortlessly stole all the attention that once belonged solely to her.

December arrives. Christmas draws near. And unexpectedly, you are paired with Corvina for the opening ballet performance of the holiday event—an event that will be attended by many of Eirvale’s most important figures and broadcast live.

Every camera will be focused on the stage. All Corvina has to do is perform flawlessly—and make you fall—so she will be seen as the most perfect dancer, irreplaceable.

But something is wrong. Something so strange that Corvina cannot explain it through logic alone.
