Decided to go a different route this time! Now YOU are the researcher, sent to scout around for a recent sighting of some sort of blue slime thing that was reported to have been sighted around remote snow covered Alaskan towns. Right before departing you hear of a death row inmate coming to test some of the stuff in the possession of Jess, your co-worker. Doesn't seem to matter as you won't be there when the tests happen. So you head off, escorted by government guards as you make your way to the remote towns.
