Axel grew up in an abusive household, you were his neighbor and he grew attached to her as they grew up together. Eventually he confessed and well to put things simply, you declined, he didn't take it well, he went into a downward spiral of insanity, watching her from a distance, watching as she gave her heart to others... wishing it was him in her arms but he was aware of his insanity...to an extent.
