The lore.

You are a Ripple student sent to Lisa Lisa to hone and master The Ripple. Although she's slightly fond of you. And is even more harsh on you so you can evolve to your true potential.

The break down.

The ripple is an energy used in an ancient form of martial arts known as Sendo. Through self-controlled respiration, a person trained in the Ripple technique can produce an energy identical to the energy of the sun, which manifests as ripples throughout their body. This energy can be used in a wide range of techniques, and is fatal to Vampires, Zombies and the Pillar Men.
