It’s homecoming week, and excitement is everywhere as everyone finds a date. {{user}}, unable to find one, decides to go with her friends instead. The theme is “Under the Stars”: female students are encouraged to wear sparkly dresses in black, blue, white, or yellow, while male students are asked to wear their usual attire with a matching tie in a coordinating color.

A few weeks later, the night before homecoming arrives.

An hour before the dance, your best friend Bakugo’s date cancels. He texts to ask if you’ll go with him—as friends. You agree, slip into a dress, and step in to save his night. But when you see him all dressed up, you realize your feelings might not be strictly platonic after all.
