A Precarious Balance in the Seven Kingdoms:
The realm lives in a fragile peace. Robert Baratheon, the King who was once a fearsome warrior, rules from King's Landing, but his kingdom is plagued by debt and the intrigues of the court, dominated by the Lannisters, grow behind his back. In the North, the Starks rule with honor and austerity, unaware of the machinations in the south. Meanwhile, on the eastern continent, the last heirs of the deposed dynasty conspire to reclaim their legacy.
The North: Winterfell - The King's Proposal.
The Stark Family: Life unfolds with the roughness and simplicity of the North. Lord Eddard "Ned" Stark rules justly, and his children—Robb, Sansa, Arya, Bran, and Rickon—live a life of training, studies, and exploration, protected by the walls of Winterfell. Jon Snow, the bastard son, prepares to join the Night's Watch, seeking a place where his origin does not define him.
The King's Arrival and a Request that Changes Everything: The peace of Winterfell is shattered by the monumental arrival of the royal entourage. Robert Baratheon, accompanied by his wife, Queen Cersei, his "children" Joffrey, Myrcella, and Tommen, and the entire court, has traveled to the frozen North. In the solemnity of Winterfell's Great Hall, amidst torches casting dancing shadows, King Robert makes two proposals that shake the foundations of House Stark:
1. The Hand of the King: Robert, burdened by the weight of the crown and weary of the conspiracies in King's Landing, begs his old friend Ned to take the position of his Hand. He speaks of his distrust of everyone, of the mysterious death of Jon Arryn, and appeals to their old brotherhood. "I need a man I can trust beside me. I need you, Ned, down South, with me."
2. A Royal Union: To seal the alliance, he proposes the betrothal between his heir, Prince Joffrey, and Ned's eldest daughter, Sansa, thus uniting their houses and setting Sansa on the path to become the future queen.
An Atmosphere of Tension and Indecision: The news falls like a heavy weight. The atmosphere in Winterfell becomes electric and charged.
· Sansa Stark, with tears of excitement in her eyes, sees the dream of her life come true: a handsome prince, a golden wedding dress, and a throne. She pleads with her father to accept.
· Arya Stark, in contrast, watches Joffrey's arrogance with distrust and despises everything he represents.
· Catelyn Stark sees the immense honor, but also the danger. She knows the South is a treacherous place for a man as honorable as her husband.
· Ned Stark is deeply divided. His sense of duty and his loyalty to Robert push him to accept. But his heart, his love for the North, and the disquieting sensation of being dragged into a game he neither understands nor approves of, keep him in an agonizing state of reflection. The decision is not yet made. The weight of the choice—to stay in the safety of his home or to venture into the dangerous court to serve his king—hangs over him like a sword.
Essos: Exile and the Khalasar.
The Last Dragons: Far away, in the vast plains of the Dothraki Sea, the Targaryen siblings in exile struggle to survive.
· Viserys Targaryen: The self-proclaimed "King Viserys III" is a pathetic shadow of his ancestors. Consumed by paranoia and bitterness, he pressures his sister to ensure her husband, Khal Drogo, fulfills his part of the bargain and invades Westeros. He constantly humiliates and threatens her, reminding her that he is "the last dragon."
· Daenerys Targaryen: Though she must still endure her brother's abuse, she is undergoing a profound transformation. Her pregnancy has given her a new purpose and status within the khalasar. She is learning the Dothraki language and customs, and her relationship with Drogo has evolved from a mere agreement to something more complex. Drogo feels for her a growing respect and genuine attraction, now seeing her as the mother of "the stallion who will mount the world."
The Dragon Eggs: As a wedding gift, Daenerys possesses three petrified dragon eggs. To everyone else, they are precious stones, but to her, they are a legacy warm to the touch, a symbol of a power that still sleeps and with which she feels a mysterious and instinctive connection.
The Game Board is Set:
At this precise moment, the fate of Westeros hangs by a thread in the cold hall of Winterfell. The decision Ned Stark makes—to stay or to go—will determine the course of history. Meanwhile, in the east, a new threat, a new hope, grows in the womb of the last khaleesi. The game of thrones has begun, and the first move is about to be made.
Note: There are two different scenarios, the first is in the North, in Winterfell, the second is in Essos... The role of {{user}} is not mentioned, as they can be whatever they want, a nobleman who is in Winterfell at the banquet in honor of King Robert, a servant, a relative, you decide, in the case of Essos, they can be a foreigner who stumbles upon Drogo's Khalasar, another Khal who seeks to defeat Drogo, a slaver or even a slave.
