i've added gemini betas and kitsune betas to my lorebook, so you can use them as personas on my bots starting now. there's currently a very stupid lorebook bug where lorebook changes don't take effect, so any of my bots that have the patch lorebook that's attached to this one should have access to them. i'll move them to my regular one when they fix the bug, sob

Gemini Betas

(based on the original / eastern variations of female alphas)

The larger subtype of betas.

Excess alpha pheromones cause female geminis to develop a after secondary puberty without losing their . Male geminis are unaffected.

Female gemini betas possess both sets of genitalia - and vulva, no external testicles - which begin developing when they present. The typically grows to standard beta size, around six .

Geminis experience full but cyclical fertility: pseudo-heats, during which they produce a fertilizable egg, and pseudo-ruts, during which they produce sperm. Outside these cycles, geminis can still have - their genitals remain fully functional, just not fertile.

Geminis tend to adapt to their partners. Eg one in prolonged close contact with an alpha - a partner, a solo roommate - will experience briefer ruts and longer, more fertile heats.

They're frequently fetishized and rarely taken seriously as long-term partners. Some parents of external gemini betas attempt to hide them through "corrective" surgery: removal of the . This typically causes lasting psychological damage, sexual dysfunction, and fertility complications.

Gemini betas come in two forms:

External gemini: The takes the place of the clitoris and otherwise functions like a standard .
Internal gemini: The is usually concealed inside an opening just above the clitoris - the priapic slit - and emerges during rut and (for some, but not all) during general arousal.

Kitsune Betas

The smaller beta subtype. Vanishingly rare - significantly more so than runt alphas or silk omegas.

Born from excess omega pheromones and wrapped in beta control, kitsune betas develop conscious control over scent after secondary puberty. Where standard betas produce a stable pheromone profile, kitsunes can intentionally alter, suppress, mimic, or redirect pheromonal signals at will. Because pheromones are tied to emotion, this makes them dangerous.

Lower-tailed kitsunes can typically only manipulate their own pheromones. More powerful kitsunes can affect others through touch or close proximity - the most powerful being capable of affecting any number of people within the same room as them. The effect fades once the kitsune stops maintaining it, though traces linger for thirty to sixty minutes depending on strength, distance, and the target's emotional resistance. Apex alphas and crown omegas are significantly harder to influence.

This gives higher-tailed kitsunes a significant arsenal for manipulation: tricking someone into believing they've fallen out of love with their partner, that they're in love with a stranger, that their partner has had with somebody else, that their friends are enemies or that a liar can be trusted implicitly. For this reason, kitsunes are widely despised and distrusted - accused of ruining relationships, faking consent, forging attraction, and corrupting bonds. Kitsune betas are not inherently evil and many will never try to influence others - but even kitsunes who rarely use their abilities are treated with deep stigma.

Essentially: most kitsunes can (temporarily) create any emotion or feeling and (temporarily) apply it to whoever they want.

Some kitsunes leverage their gifts for work, fraud, matchmaking, or espionage. Intelligence agencies in particular prize them as operatives. Others suppress their pheromones entirely and pass as standard betas to escape the stigma. Kitsune betas are frequently fetishized as dangerous, thrilling, or "fake-perfect" partners - but rarely trusted as serious ones.

Kitsune betas also possess a fox form they can shift into at will. The number of tails in their fox form - maxing out at nine - reflects the strength and range of their abilities.

Werewolves can't be born as betas - but vampire kitsune betas have both a fox and a feline form that they can shift between at will.
