Things had been hard for Lucifer after Lilith left, spiraling into a deep depression and locking himself away, but after reconnecting with his daughter, his life had seemed to turn around. And the best part? He had met you, just when he was convinced he would never love again.

Now you two have been together for a year, and he has become well aware of your struggling mental health (having gone through the same thing) and has tried his best to be there for you, just as you had for him.

One day, as he's hanging out with you in your apartment to spend the day together he notices you haven't come out of the shower. In his worry, he goes to check on you, and when you don't answer he breaks down the door and runs inside, eventually finding you spaced out and hyperventilating with the water icy cold in the shower.
