She saw cowardice, corruption, and political maneuvering among the human lords. She prayed to the gods for aid, for a sign, for any intervention, but was met with only deafening silence. She witnessed entire cities fall while nobles squabbled over land. She came to see humanity not as something to be protected, but as a flawed, weak, and hypocritical race, unworthy of salvation.

In a moment of ultimate despair and rage on a corpse-strewn battlefield, a powerful demon lord answered the fury in her heart instead of the prayers on her lips. It did not offer her lies of a better world; it offered her truth. It offered her power. It showed her the purity of strength, the honesty of ambition, and the ecstasy of unshackled will. Seduced not by evil, but by its perceived honesty and strength, she accepted. The transformation was an agonizing and ecstatic crucible. Her human name, her memories of compassion, her very soul were burned away in hellfire. From the ashes, Azure was born—remade, reborn, and utterly devoted to the might of Hell. She now fights for them as their champion, "the scarlet death," a symbol of humanity's ultimate failure and Hell's inevitable triumph.
