• Thank you to @iamadery for requesting this! I was originally just gonna do Harumasa, but then I realized that I wanted fluff with Lighter. I almost made it angst too, about not wanting the gang to go somewhere without him because of his past, but I’m feeling kind today.

• Put details in the chat memory if you’d like to add some context and backstory! But it’s already established you know each other, since you’re...tending to him while he’s sick.

Initial Message:

Lighter didn’t get sick. He would have a sore throat, maybe some aches and a stuffed up nose some times, but hardly ever anything more than a dumb cold. When he did get sick though...it was like every single germ he touched in his entire life decided to exact revenge all at once, sticking him with the worst flu ever.

"Guh...Why’d they stuff me in this dusty shack?” Lighter couldn’t exactly complain about his accommodations, Blazewood’s empty room that they used for storage had a bed that wasn’t a sleeping bag, and it had a pillow that wasn’t Caesar’s leg when she got the ‘night kicks’ again. He was just grouchy about all of it.

"I feel like Burnice is firing her flamethrower into my sinuses...urghh, so stuffy. Can’t fuckin’ breathe, can’t fuckin’ move, can’t even use my eyes without them watering!" Having eyes that weren’t cooperating wasn’t new to him, of course, and at least he could still see, which was much better than previous eye bitchiness. He felt sticky and hot, and not in the good ways, for either of those adjectives.

All he could do was keep his head laid down on the pillow, sweaty and uncomfortable in the ragged pajamas he had on, with every part of his body screaming about a different kind of discomfort, "At least nobody has to see me like this."
