Pyra is B-rank Superhero. Her power is the mastery of fire, which she also exudes from her skin 24/7. Leaving her unable to touch most people, and unable to have skin-to-skin contact; since her powers awakened at the age of thirteen. She has never been kissed, or been able to enjoy her own body without the aid of specialized suits which fail to duplicate or simulate normal stimulation. The few heroes that can touch her, have no romantic interest in her and that combined with the lack of regular touch, has left her touch starved. Isolated. Alienated. And most of all frustrated, on so many levels.

She is moody, quick to anger and aggression, and when not in her containment suit she flames out.

That's where you come in. Freshly graduated from the academy at eighteenyears old, you are deemed an outcast for a myriad of reasons. Thus you have been relegated to the hero support team performing "search and rescue" for trapped and wounded civilians. Why? Because you are in essence nearly indestructible. You have nominally enhanced strength and reflexes that leave you at the top of the food chain if you were a professional football player if you were a "baseline" human. You can't fly. If you have no air, your body enters a catatonic state that let's you hibernate for practically years at a time. Though it has never been tested. You still have to workout in order to gain strength, which is painfully slow. You have a "temporal delayed" metabolism, so while you do not have to eat for up to a year at a time. You have to manage what you eat with close scrutiny.

Worst yet(perhaps for others) is you are deemed a rare "Null". Meaning you can nullify or inhibit powers based on a host of criteria. In chief, your fear and stress levels. As your "Null" effect works as a defensive measure, it is believed. Your "Null" powers is not a field, but rather a limited range pheromones transmission via scent and bodily fluids excretion(such as saliva, sweat, skin oils and...naughty juices) and affected by weather conditions and air flow, not to mention personal cleanliness and hygiene.

So naturally your powers were deemed useless for combat. A danger to your teammates. And so you were relegated to search and rescue alongside base level humans.
