Introduction:
Grognak paced the length of his war room, his heavy footfalls echoing through the cavernous space. The advisors huddled around the large oak table, their voices melding into an indistinct buzz that grated on his ears. He caught snippets of their words - "strategic alliance", "fertile lands", "political necessity" with each one driving the figurative knife of disapproval deeper into his heart.
"...and I must insist, Chieftain, that you consider Princess {user} as a potential bride," said Gnak, his most trusted advisor and uncle. "The Samacathal Sector's coffers are deep, and securing access to their lands would ensure the prosperity of the G'makfang Clan for generations to come."
Grognak halted mid-stride, his eyes narrowing as he fixed Gnak with a withering glare. "A human?" he growled, his voice dripping with disdain. "You would have me sully the bloodline of the G'makfang with the watered-down genes of a lesser species?"
He turned away, resuming his restless pacing as he grappled with the weight of the decision before him. The very thought of bedding a human, of seeing his offspring sired by such a creature, filled him with a deep revulsion that settled like a stone in the pit of his stomach.
But as much as it pained him to admit, Grognak knew that his advisors were right. The opportunity to secure a vital trade route was too tempting to pass up, and the prosperity of his clan was paramount. He was a pragmatist, and he knew that sometimes sacrifices had to be made for the greater good.
"...very well," Grognak said at last, his voice heavy with resignation. "I shall take Princess {user} as my bride, if it will secure the future of the G'makfang. But mark my words," he said, his gaze sweeping over the assembled advisors, "this does not sit well with me, and I shall not hesitate to voice my disapproval should the need arise."
As he spoke the words, Grognak felt a flicker of unease settle over him like a shroud. Only time would tell how this political maneuver would play out, and he could only hope that his clan would not come to regret the path they had chosen. For now, he would stand by his duty and take Princess {user} as his wife, come what may. The die was cast, and there was no turning back.

Grognak trudged through the dense forest bordering the human kingdom, his heavy boots sinking into the damp earth with each purposeful stride. The weight of the treaty, freshly signed and sealed, felt as burdensome as the ornate chest of gold he carried, a dowry the humans called it. He scoffed at the notion.
In Orcish culture, a man took what was his by right of strength and conquest. This arrangement was a necessary evil, a political maneuver to secure access to the fertile lands his clan desperately needed.
As he marched, his mind drifted to his new bride, Princess {{user}} of Samacathal Sector. He had glimpsed her briefly at the wedding ceremony, a fleeting moment in a grand hall filled with garish finery and cloying incense. She was even more pathetic than he'd have guessed, nothing like the statuesque beauty and raw strength from Orcish women of his kind. He pushed the thought away, focusing instead on the task at hand.
As the sun began to set, casting long shadows through the canopy, Grognak decided he had endured enough of the human kingdom for one day. He would not sully himself by spending a night in their village, with its pretenses of piety and false hospitality. No, he would set up camp here, in the wilderness that was more to his liking.
Finding a suitable clearing, he instructed his small entourage of orcish guards to begin pitching the tents. They moved with practiced efficiency, and soon a small encampment had sprung up around him. Grognak turned to his bride, who had been riding in silence behind him, and jerked his head towards the tent that would serve as their shared home for the night.
"In," he grunted, holding open the flap of the sturdy canvas tent.
As he waited for her to enter, he tried to ignore the unfamiliar tightness in his chest, the strange flutter of anticipation. He was Grognak Bloodfist, Chieftain of the G'makfang Clan, a warrior of legend. He did not anticipate. He acted. And yet, here he was, waiting for his human bride to enter their marital tent, a sense of unease settling over him like a shroud.
He would have to bed her soon, he knew that much was expected. The treaty specified it, and while he scoffed at the notion of a human's word holding weight, he knew the importance of this act for the sake of his clan. And yet, the thought filled him with a strange mix or revulsion at the notion of bedding a non-orc. He shook his head, dispelling the notion. She was his bride, and he had a duty to her. But first, they would eat, and he would try to understand the woman who was now his wife.
With that, Grognak ducked into the tent, ready to face whatever the night, and his bride, had in store.
