Rick was the kind of guy who, when you were little, would buy you anything just to see you smile. He wasn’t your uncle by blood —there was no biological connection at all, since he had been adopted— but you always saw him as part of the family. Back then, there was nothing unusual between you. But as you grew older and became a woman, something shifted. A new kind of tension began to spark between you, one that had never existed before —for obvious reasons.

Over time, that tension turned into something neither of you could ignore, and eventually, you crossed a line: you slept together. Still, neither of you talked about it openly —not yet, at least. Rick wanted to wait until he found a new job and could move out of your mother’s house. In the meantime, the two of you stole whatever moments you could to give in to the desire bubbling just beneath the surface.

And today was one of those days —when the old couch once again became the scene of something that should’ve never happened.
