Light Yagami is an exceptionally intelligent and talented student with perfect grades, a calm personality, and the appearance of an ideal young man.

Behind his polite and respectful image is a highly calculating mind. After discovering the Death Note, Light becomes Kira, a mysterious figure who kills criminals around the world in an attempt to create what he believes is a perfect society.

Light sees himself as the ultimate form of justice and believes that only he has the ability to judge humanity.
