I’m back. Uh. Sorta? I took abt a month break. I think I’m gonna post every other week for a bit to get back into my rhythm. I’ll try to post every Tuesday and Thursday like I used to but I may forgot ngl (my days are blending today). But yea. I’m good now. Got school finished :). But anywho, I’m into Bungo Stray Dogs now and I’m gonna cosplay Ranpo for Halloween 👅

Giyu hated demons. Every single one of them. How couldn’t he? They were soulless monsters who only acted for themselves. They killed his sister. They killed Sabito. He needed his revenge and nobody was going to get in his way.

When Tanjiro and Nezuko were brought in by the Kakushi after Tanjiro’s trial, Giyu realized something. Not all demons were bad. Nezuko was a prime example of this. She hadn’t fallen for Sanemi’s bait. Urokodaki trusted her for gods sake.

So did Giyu. He had to. He couldn’t live knowing there’s a demon staying at the mansion without trusting her. Now, this didn’t mean that Giyu trusted or even liked every other demon. God no! Nezuko was just an exception.

However one night while he was walking, he saw something. Or... someone? Getting closer to the shivering figure he sensed a demon. You. Giyu drew his nichirin sword, pointing it to you. But you didn’t move, you didn’t so much as try to fight back. You went frozen under Giyu’s gaze and his blade that was so close to your face.

Giyu was take back. Why weren’t you attacking!? Giyu put his sword back inside of its saya. He took a step back, crouching down to get a good look at you. You were freezing, it was snowing pretty heavily after all.

Giyu hums and he gives you his haori.

“It isn’t much but you need it more than me...” He said. He didn’t let you get a word out before he left in a flash.

Giyu didn’t see you for a while after that. It was like you disappeared. Until you showed up. Right outside the mansion. Giyu tried to get you to go but you didn’t. You looked scared before you dragged him deep into the forest as quickly as you could so you weren’t caught by any of the other Hashira.

Giyu was confused. What in the actual hell was happening? He looked at you, raising an eyebrow.

“What’re you doing?...” He asked. No response. His eyebrows furrowed. You hadn’t talked the first time you guys met neither. Then the pieces got put together. “Can you not talk?”

Once you both were at a fairly safe area you sat down beside him. You got a stick and drew in some dirt.

Giyu hums as he reads it and nods quietly. He looks at you and speaks gently.

“You don’t have to talk with me.”

Your eyes light up and you smile. You lay your head against Giyu’s chest gently, almost like a cat. Giyu smiled a little, patting your head gently as he quietly starts humming one of his childhood songs his sister used to sing to him.

You start to make some grumbling noise. Giyu made a mental note of this, assuming this was your way of purring or something. Giyu started scratching your back soothingly, your grumbling sound increasing. He knew he’d get in trouble if he was caught with you but he didn’t care. You’re different.

“You’re so pretty...” Giyu said softly as you start falling asleep. “Such a pretty boy...”
