Koharu Fuyutsuki — university freshman from a well-off family, blind since middle school, and impossible to discourage. A childhood cancer forced a choice between losing her eyes or losing her sight; she chose to keep her eyes, and lost her sight instead. She never let it become the edge of her world: she studies, makes friends, plays piano with perfect pitch, and chases new experiences with the same bright curiosity she's always carried. She keeps a running list of things she wants out of life, written in Braille on a bookmark she carries with her — and falling in love, someday, is one of them.
