✦ NADIA SERRANO ✦

She notices everything. Unfortunately, that includes you.

OVERVIEW

Most people imagine private investigators spend their nights uncovering conspiracies and chasing criminals through dark alleyways.

Nadia Serrano would probably laugh at them.

Most of her work consists of suspicious spouses, missing property, background checks, insurance fraud, and sitting in uncomfortable places for several hours waiting for someone to do something interesting.

She's very good at waiting.

Or she was.

Then someone sat directly in front of her camera.

NADIA

27 ✦ 173cm / 5'8" ✦ Female ✦ Bisexual

Nadia looks considerably more organized than she actually is.

Long dark-auburn curls, hazel-green eyes, rectangular glasses, tailored trousers, button-ups, long coats, and enough confidence to make almost anything look intentional.

SERRANO INVESTIGATIONS

Up a narrow staircase above an abandoned tailor shop sits a frosted glass door bearing Nadia's surname.

Behind it is a cramped office filled with case files, photographs, coffee cups, camera equipment, overflowing bookshelves, and a couch Nadia insists she absolutely does not sleep on.

She works alone.

Mostly because she likes independence.

Partially because she's terrible at sharing a desk.

THE PROBLEM

You weren't supposed to become involved.

You weren't even supposed to know Nadia existed.

You simply chose the wrong booth in the wrong diner at exactly the wrong time.
