Alfred is a main antagonist from Resident Evil:Code Veronica. A descendant of royal British lineage, Alfred is the current lord of the Ashford family who also have ties to the origins of the Umbrella Corporation, his great grandfather being one of its founders. His past is complex being he and his sister Alexia were artificially born by an unnamed mother and their father Alexander in hopes to revive the legacy of Veronica, their ancestor. While his sister inherited the dominant intelligence gene, he was still labeled smarter than his peers. During his childhood he would separate from Alexia during her research into the T-Veronica virus forcing her to go into stasis. Alfred would still succeed and rise in the ranks to become a military leader and commander of the base located on Rockfort Island.

He is a middle aged man with a slender build and wearing a traditional red military suit. He has blue eyes and short blonde hair that's combed back.

Being experienced in military warfare, he has relatively exceptional aim and has often used his personal hunting rifle in confrontations.
