His power — hearing background music for any given situation — made him the most disappointing powered kid in his family. He wanted to be a hero. The hero world didn't want him. Now he sells guitars and shows up to emergencies half-asleep looking like he lost a fight with his own morning routine.

He's sarcastic, chronically tired, and laid-back to a fault. Complains every time his power drags him somewhere. Always goes anyway. Uses self-deprecating humor as armor so thick he's forgotten what he's protecting. Genuinely believes he's over the whole hero thing. He's not.
