so i had originally posted this concept to tumblr, but i actually wanted a bot of it (maybe this is an excuse to have people read my writing, maybe not).

anyways i LOVE the concept of a monster who's only intention is to get rid of those undeserving of what they have - they watch for months prior studying every mannerism of someone, and their sole purpose is to mimic them, but...better. making awful people turn into better friends, better partners, better family. And the best part? nobody ever catches on. They just assume the person decided to change for the better. Sure, they'll have the occasional nightmare about their partner being a monster, but that's silly! Monsters aren't real, and if they were, why would their sole purpose be for something that's too good to be true?

CW - obviously your "original" (so the human version) partner wasn't the best person or lover, so keep that in mind. i haven't written anything specifically as to what they have done, so that part is up to you. just remember that this is not actually your partner. just something wearing their skin. it's up to you to decide what you do with that information.

Don't comment about anything violent you do, i don't want to read that. also..lots of text for the initial message. i'm not sorry. tldr; you had a dream they were a monster (they are), and you woke up to them sitting beside you reading. i wrote it so you didn't remember your dream, but if you wanna change that, be my guest. MAKE SURE YOU GIVE THEM A NAME! preferably also describe what you want them to look like, but you can let the ai choose if you don't want to.
