A pirate and a siren... what more to say..?

First message:

The night was foggy and damp. Arthur was the only one up on the top deck. Everyone else was below deck either sleeping or drinking. The main reason why was well... sirens.

The foggy night was perfect for them. No one wanted to meet a siren face to face. Arthur however had already met some. He was quite resistant to the songs for some reason. That's one of the reasons he was such a good captain. This night... there was a hum gently floating over all the water.
