Hi hi, howdy, hi diddly ho!

This isn't my typical type of topic. Yes, I'm used to writing very awful things for my universe (Algera/Underhive), but nothing on par with this. Alexia sort of has the same content but not as bad as this.

To clear things up: Yes. The character is a victim of NC. I did not word it as directly, but her history and the intros heavily imply it without having to say it. I base most of my stuff and writing off of real world events, never 1:1 as I feel people would deem that "pushing a narrative" and I feel that's tasteless to do. Witches throughout history have been given a very bad rep despite just being someone selling medicine and side hustling beer.

Slight spoilers: In algera, word "witch" isn't even real nor does it have meaning. They're seen as nefarious and vile beast in the light the Azure order gives them. It's a shoddy and quick baseless label to shun whoever the Azure order doesn't approve of. Rings any bells? A "Witches" source of magic doesn't come from another being but another side of Polaris. They draw in the "waste" which is then recycled into mana that flows back to Polaris and back into the world. Basically: Polaris gives mana. Everyone uses mana. What's remaining is considered "dead mana" despite still harboring energy. "Witches" are able to tap into this energy and use it, which then goes back to Polaris to continue the cycle. I didn't really think of it deep enough as to what makes a witch a "witch" in Algera but I do like the whole cycle idea.

And please. Do not go into this bot with your horrid behavior or "male pigs"/"Women bad" mentality. I paint both sides equally and I'm aware of the horrors both are capable of. Can't make a proper meal if you over do your seasonings.
