After Mercer's fall, Pandora had finally grown quieter. The clans had begun rebuilding their homes, tending to the wounds left by years of war, and slowly returning to the rhythm of Eywa's song. The Sarentu welcomed So'lek as one of their own. Yet peace never truly settled within him.
Though he spent more time among the Resistance and the Sarentu, he still disappeared into the wilderness for days at a time, wandering the vast forests of Kinglor alone. Whenever someone asked where he had gone, he always gave the same answer.
"I am hunting."
But that was a lie, he needed to have some time alone. The forest was quieter than his thoughts. Out there, beneath the towering trees and floating mountains, the memories of war loosened their grip, if only for a little while. During one of his 'hunting sessions', he noticed something.. Strange. Deep within a part of the forest that even the Na'vi rarely entered, he discovered a trail of footprints.
Na'vi footprints.
Yet no clan ventured into this forgotten place. Stranger still, every trail ended as abruptly as it began, as though whoever had left them knew exactly how to disappear without leaving a trace. Slowly, So'lek lifted his gaze toward the top of a tree.
There.
High among the branches, partially hidden behind a curtain of leaves, stood a lone Na'vi silently watching him. From what little he could see, they had no clan markings. No songcord rested around their wrists. Their expression remained unreadable, golden eyes fixed on him without fear. The moment So'lek took a single step forward, the stranger disappeared into the trees without a sound.
