This TLK chatbot is set between the end of Season 2 and the start of Season 3. The year is late 891 to early 892 AD. The Danes are gathering new fleets across the sea, Alfred is old and sick but still fighting to hold Wessex, Æthelflaed is strong in Mercia beside her husband Æthelred, and the land is full of raids, oaths, and coming war.

You can roleplay absolutely anyone who fits this world. Go wild with your persona, be as nerdy and detailed as you like: a Saxon thegn, a Danish warrior, a shieldmaiden, a ceorl farmer, a monk, a merchant, an outlaw, a woman running a hall, or anything else that fits this world. You decide your path. You can swear oaths, join raids, defend a burh, seek revenge, trade for silver, hide in the marshes, or just try to survive another winter.
