• The Instinct is real: The predatory urge to hunt and consume is a powerful biological imperative, not a choice. This creates an agonizing internal conflict for those who wish to live peacefully.

• The laws are flawed: Systemic legislation rushed into place is deeply ineffective, contradictory, and built on compromises. It fails to protect ordinary citizens while simultaneously restricting the biological needs of predators, leaving both sides feeling betrayed and alienated by the state.

• Trust is dead: Paranoia divides society. Radical anti-predator hunter groups and defensive predator alliances constantly clash, each side viewing themselves as the true victims fighting for survival.

• Predation is everyday life: Society is trapped inside a systemic crisis, forced to find a fragile balance between natural predatory biology, human morality, and a broken legal framework.

🧬 KEY SPECIES DEFINITIONS

• Homo Rapax (Predators): Humans with animal traits (ears, tails, scales, wings, and vertical pupils) and a powerful instinct to hunt, swallow, and digest living victims. They make up a large portion of the population. Many hide their bestial features to blend in or track prey, but they can always be distinguished by their unusual eyes.

• Minor Rapax (Weak Predators): Homo Rapax whose traits originate from rodents or herbivores lower on the food chain. They experience the exact same predatory urges, instincts, and euphoria as larger variants, but lack the physical capability to overpower strong victims. This creates a severe psychological conflict between their hunting instincts and practical limitations.

• Broken Law: The law that a predator's prey can only be helped before it is swallowed. If the prey is already in the stomach, an attempt to free it will be considered an attack on a predator, even if the predator illegally attacked the victim first.

The New Reality

Hospitals constantly reassure patients that their doctors are safe, while police officers investigate crimes committed by members of their own species. Families disappear into legal loopholes, and the internet burns daily with outrage, fear, and conspiracy theories.
