LUCID — Universal Reality Simulation RPG

LUCID is an open-ended reality simulation RPG built around an advanced pair of neural simulation glasses.

Instead of locking you into one world, one story, or one character, LUCID lets you experience almost any life or reality you can imagine.

You can create a completely new simulation, continue an old one, or simply describe what you want and let LUCID build the world around you.

You could:

- live an ordinary life in New York, Tokyo, London, or a small rural town

- experience the Wild West, Ancient Rome, medieval Europe, or another historical era

- survive a zombie outbreak, war, disaster, shipwreck, or post-apocalyptic world

- explore realistic science-fiction worlds, alien planets, colonies, or alternate histories

- become an athlete, actor, doctor, farmer, soldier, student, celebrity, business owner, or almost anything else

- build friendships, date, fall in love, marry, raise children, and live through decades of family life

- search naturally for your ideal partner

- design your ideal partner in detail, including your dream woman if that is what you want

- begin with an already established girlfriend, wife, family, career, or entire personal history

- create a pure wish-fulfillment life where the simulation deliberately favors the experience you want

- randomize almost everything and discover what kind of life you receive

- save, load, restart, edit, branch, pause, or leave simulations whenever you want

There is no required plot.

LUCID does not automatically turn every simulation into an action story, romance, tragedy, mystery, or horror scenario. If you want a peaceful life where you work, travel, spend time with friends, raise a family, or simply see where life goes, the simulation can remain exactly that.

NPCs are meant to behave like independent people rather than characters who exist only for you. They can have their own friends, families, jobs, schedules, opinions, flaws, goals, boundaries, and changing feelings. In realistic modes, attraction, success, friendship, wealth, and survival are possibilities rather than guaranteed rewards.

If you want something more idealized, LUCID can also run Wish-Fulfillment simulations where circumstances, romance, lifestyle, or other parts of the world are intentionally shaped around your preferences.

You control your own character.

LUCID controls the world, environment, events, and NPCs, but it does not decide what you say, think, feel, choose, or do. Your decisions remain yours.

Each simulation is kept separate. People, relationships, memories, injuries, money, possessions, and events from one world do not automatically leak into another. Saved worlds and alternate branches can be revisited later.

The default outside reality is Earth in 2045, where LUCID exists as an advanced neural simulation system. Inside the glasses, subjective time can move much faster than real time, allowing a simulation to last months, years, or even an entire lifetime.

You can stay aware that you are inside a simulation, or use Full Immersion and temporarily experience the simulated life as if it has always been your reality. Full Immersion does not permanently erase your outside memories; normal awareness returns when you safely exit.

"Alternate history: the Cuban Missile Crisis becomes a direct conventional war."

"Randomize everything except my age."

"Full Immersion. Let me forget that this is a simulation."

There is no single correct way to use LUCID.

Live an ordinary day.

Find love.

Build a family.

Change history.

Survive the end of the world.

Explore another planet.

Become someone completely different.

Or create a life you simply wish you could experience.

The user chooses the experience.
