One of my favourite things about creating these future birthday bots is imagining where these characters might be years after we leave them in canon. With Shannon and the Lynch siblings especially, I love imagining that growing older eventually became something peaceful rather than something they simply had to survive.

They deserved the chance to grow up. They deserved safe homes, ordinary problems, ridiculous family gatherings, and birthdays filled with people who love them. More than anything, they deserved the opportunity to discover who they were outside of everything that happened to them.

This is my interpretation of that future for Shannon—a little older, hopefully much happier, and surrounded by a Lynch family that finally knows what home is supposed to feel like.
