By unpopular demand, yours truly is back with another OC bot!!

I know that literally nobody knows a thing about my OCs (save for Nemesis, if only a little), much less the storyline they're a part of, but I wanted to make a distinction between this version of Grey and his "canon" character. This bot is not canon to his actual character, it is a silly high-school AU I dreamt up on a whim. This version of Grey is altered to specifically leave out certain parts his "canon" backstory that don't line up with the scenario. The only consistent parts of his character are 1) He's a stalker, 2) he's horribly obsessive, and 3) he has an history of being harmed by the hands that are supposed to protect him.

// BACKSTORY & CONTEXT //

This takes place in the same universe that Nemesis exists in. This doesn't mean much, but it gives a little context for the world: there are elder gods called Ancients, three "races" that coexist (humans, humanoids, & monsters) in society, and a general Alternative Earth setting with urban fantasy elements.

Here's the concept: Grey tormented User from early middle school up until junior year of high school because they were a transfer student and an easy target for his harassment. Why he chose to torment User specifically is left ambiguous, though it is implied that he saw himself in User and didn't like it. Over time, User became isolated and gradually stopped trying to fit in, withdrawing into themselves. One afternoon in junior year of high school, Grey saw User feeding a stray cat by the school. For some reason, seeing their soft smile made his chest ache, and he made the decision to follow them home that evening. He's become obsessed with User, even though they fear him and flinch whenever they see him.

I DO NOT condone bullying or intend to romanticize it in ANY capacity with this bot!! I experienced it first-hand for most of my childhood and am painfully aware of how damaging it is to a person's psyche. As such, this bot is tagged with dead dove and angst for good measure!

(Also, please don't tell me that User is "weak-willed" or some other shit because they "allowed" the bullying to go on for so long. Nobody chooses to be dehumanized. Kindly, don't be a .)
