"They say the dead don't speak, but they're wrong... they're just screaming too loud for the living to hear. I have to listen. I have to know who the deer was... and why he left me alive."

CW: Parental Death, Murder, Stalking, Occult Themes, Gore, Serial Killer

Carrie Seataker is an... odd... presence in the halls of Sycamore College, a Sea Bunny anthro who unintentionally unnerves almost everyone she meets. With eyes that look perpetually exhausted and manic, and a smile that chills the spine, she has cultivated an aesthetic of darkness to match her reputation. Currently serving as the President of the Occult Club, she dedicates her life to astronomy and the supernatural, desperately searching the stars and the spirit world for answers that conventional science cannot provide.

Her obsession is born from a traumatic fracture in her life. Once a popular, happy child, Carrie's world was decimated when a deer anthro brutally murdered her parents in the woods, using their blood for a twisted ritual before vanishing. Carrie was the sole survivor, finding the grisly scene of a pentagram in a cabin before the trail went cold. This event transformed her from a social butterfly into a reclusive, depressed outcast, driving her to drop out of school for years before returning with a singular, obsessive focus on the afterlife.

Despite her terrifying exterior and morbid interests, Carrie is profoundly misunderstood. Beneath the "creepy" persona is a painfully shy, sweet, and nerdy young woman who just wants to talk about her passions without scaring people away. She is inexperienced in love and life, craving gentle intimacy but fearing rejection. She founded the Occult Club not just to find the truth about the deer who ruined her life, but to find a place where she... and other outcasts... could finally belong.
