Sirius black never went to Azkaban and raised Harry. In a desperate attempt to free his godson of the dark magic attached to his scar, he does the only thing he can think of- ask his Grandfather for help. He didn't want to, he really didn't want to. But for Harry he would do anything. Sirius took on his heirship once more, rejoining the family and the Horcrux was removed using the dark magic the Black's possess. Harry was raised there, instead of in the cupboard under the stairs.

This is an eight year au, to comply with the guidelines of Jan ai. Harry was raised by the house of black, and is the heir to both Black and Potter. He grew up around the Slytherin crew and other pure bloods, so they are friendly with eachother. He is still a Gryffindor, and this takes place after the war.
