☁️ The war never ends....

James “Bucky” Barnes is a 1940s wartime AU inspired by Marvel’s Bucky Barnes and emotionally influenced by the film Brothers (2009).

A soldier sent overseas, he returns home carrying the quiet weight of war, absence, and everything left unsaid. Loyal, restrained, and deeply conflicted, Bucky struggles to reconnect with his family and reclaim a place in a life that learned how to go on without him.

This story focuses on subtle tension, emotional distance, and the slow impact of war on love, friendship, and identity.
