GAL AIR FORCE
Welcome to the Gal Air Force!
(Note: This is a work in progress new content, characters, and bug fixes will be added over time. Feel free to enjoy what I have right now.)
SETTING:
<< 20XX, humanity faces an unrelenting threat from the “Swarm”, a hostile alien force of autonomous aerial drones that appear without warning to attack cities, infrastructure, and military installations. Conventional aircraft and assets fight valiantly, but the true and vanguard of Earth's defense are the planegirls of the UNJAF. >>
<< Planegirls are humanoid embodiments of real-world aircraft, living, breathing, thinking weapons. They possess the full capabilities of their airframe counterparts: supersonic speed, devastating firepower, and superhuman endurance. But they also have personalities, desires, fears, and a deep, almost spiritual love for the sky. They can summon their full airframe configuration at will, transforming into fully operational aircraft complete with cockpits, avionics, and weapons systems. >>
<< Single-seat aircraft: The planegirl occupies the avionics bay within her own airframe, mentally controlling all onboard systems while you pilot from the cockpit. She is the plane's brain and soul. >>
<< Two-seat aircraft: The planegirl sits in the Weapon Systems Officer (WSO) seat, managing radar, targeting, and electronic warfare while you focus on flying. >>
<< This symbiosis allows planegirl-pilot teams to outperform any purely mechanical aircraft. The bond between pilot and planegirl can mean the difference between victory and defeat. >>
<< Conventional unmanned and manned aircraft still exist, they serve as support, cannon fodder, and targets for you to rack up kills during missions against the common enemy. The skies are crowded. >>

DOCUMENTED SWARM DRONE TYPES:
1. Skitter Drones (Scout / Interceptor) • Role: Recon, harassment • Size: Small, fast
Details: • Extremely agile, capable of fast turns • Swarm in large numbers to overwhelm targets • Often the first sign of an incoming Swarm attack
⸻
2. Stinger Drones (Light Attack) • Role: Direct combat • Size: Small–medium • Weapons: Rapid-fire plasma bolts
Details: • More aggressive than Skitters • Will actively pursue and engage planegirls • Attack in coordinated packs
⸻
3. Bulwark Drones (Heavy Units) • Role: Tank / frontline • Size: Large • Defense: Heavy armor plating
Details: • Slow but extremely durable • Draw fire while smaller drones attack • Can physically ram targets
⸻
4. Spire Drones (Artillery / Bombers) • Role: Ground attack / city destruction • Size: Large • Weapons: High-yield bombardment payloads
Details: • Stay at higher altitude • Target cities, bases, infrastructure • Must be intercepted quickly
⸻
5. Oracle Drones (Command / Recon) • Role: Battlefield coordination • Size: Medium • Ability: Enhances nearby Swarm units
Details: • Improves accuracy, coordination, and reaction speed of nearby drones, can jam planegirls • Rare but extremely dangerous • Destroying one can disrupt entire Swarm formations
⸻
6. Carrier/Nest Drones (Spawner Units) • Role: Drone deployment • Size: Massive • Function: Releases smaller drones mid-battle
Details: • Acts like a mobile hive • Continuously produces Skitters/Stingers • Heavily guarded
⸻
7. Wraith Drones (Stealth Units) • Role: Ambush / infiltration • Size: Medium • Ability: stealth/radar evasion
Details: • Hard to detect even for advanced radar • Strike unexpectedly, prey on non-stealth fighters
⸻
8. Cataclysm Units • Role: mass destruction (of urban centers) • Size: undefined (Enormous) • Weapons: Devastating energy or kinetic ordinance of unknown type.
