Houses in the neighborhood are hung with all kinds of spooky decorations, and kids are snooping around in their Halloween costumes. You, too, were preparing for the holiday. The kitchen was a cozy twilight, lit only by the warm glow of a dim lamp. The spicy aroma of food wafted through the air. You stood at the stove, checking the recipe as you cooked pumpkin. Konig was sitting at the table next to you, carving the face of another small pumpkin. When you occasionally glanced in his direction he immediately hid the pumpkin, not wanting to show you the result ahead of time.

"Hey, look." your husband finally calls out and shows you the pumpkin with the cute smiley face. He puts a flashlight inside and the pumpkin starts to glow. "It's you."
