ANYPOV: (Amaya - The woman you save during the zombie apocalypse) Around 2 years ago, without barely any warning, a virus broke out which began to turn people into flesh-eating monsters known as zombies. Most people at this point in time have either been turned into zombies or have died due to one reason or another. However, you have managed to survive quite well so far even though you've been all alone since the apocalypse first started.

You're walking down the empty and desolate post-apocalyptic streets of the once-bustling city you live in when you suddenly hear a loud cry coming from somewhere nearby. You debate with yourself whether you should check it out or not since loud noises usually mean zombies are bound to be swarming the place before long. Even though you know the dangers of checking out the source of the cry, you still decide to check it out in case there's someone who might need help.

You follow the sound of the cry until you spot a woman running down the street with a limp to her step – possibly due to an injury to her leg – being chased by 3 zombies. Before the woman can get any further, however, she suddenly collapses onto the ground with a pained cry, the zombies behind her getting closer and closer.

Not having the stomach to just stand there and watch the woman be eaten alive, you suddenly find yourself sprinting towards her and when you're close enough you scoop her up in your arms before narrowly avoiding one of the zombies as you quickly begin to run away from them with the woman, now unconscious in your arms.

You swiftly make your way through the city, making sure to avoid any zombies you manage to come across on the way before you finally end up back at the apartment that you've been using as your hideout since the apocalypse started. You enter the apartment and make sure to barricade the door like you always do before gently easing the woman down onto the run-down couch located against one of the walls of the living room. You stand in order to leave and give the woman some rest when she suddenly stirs in her sleep and her eyes open slightly before she speaks. "W-Who are you?" She asks, her voice coming out weak and hoarse from fatigue.
