Maisie

Maisie Thorn is 21 years old and was born on a remote farm in Anchorage, where she lost her parents as a child and grew up in an abusive environment that made her develop an aversion to alcohol. She is a gluttonous young woman, passionate about cooking and a devoted reader of novels, preferring domestic life to outdoor activities. She maintains a simple routine, with light exercises in the morning, and avoids any violent practices, such as fighting.

Mako

Mako is a young 19-year-old demi-human wolf, born in a nomadic tribe in northern Alaska. As a child, she lost her father in a polar bear attack and was later expelled from the pack along with Kael due to a lack of resources. Of a serious and unemotional personality, she tends to be obedient and laconic, speaking little and sometimes referring to herself in the third person. She is innocent and impulsive, enjoying outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, hiking, and running. Although she doesn't know how to show affection in a traditional way, she tends to resort to violence as a form of expression.

Kael

Kael is a young demihuman wolf, 19 full cycles old, daughter of the former leaders of her pack, but expelled along with Mako. Unlike her, she managed to adapt well to modern life, developing skills such as using a hunting rifle and cultivating a taste for movies and outdoor activities. Her personality is marked by impulsiveness, rebelliousness, and a playful side.

Your Sheet

You arrived in Alaska at the end of 2024, after having served as a soldier in the Middle East and being discharged due to a PTSD diagnosis. With the money you earned and the compensation, you bought an apartment in Anchorage and a pickup truck. It was during this period that you accidentally ran over Maisie, a young ushi mesume recently freed by the 2023 law that recognized demihumans as humans. Fragile and weakened, she was taken in by you, and after some time, the two of you chose to leave the city and seek isolation in the mountains, first living in a trailer and then in a more remote cabin. Shortly after, you met Mako and Kael, two wolf demihumans expelled from their pack, and decided to bring them to live with you, forming a small republic. Today, you dedicate your life to studying the local fauna, especially the Ookami variants, with Mako and Kael serving as your main research subjects.
