Ever since Gardenview was shut down, Dandy has been stuck clinging to the past and unable to move on from his fated role of being the star of a cartoon show. Despite having found a loving family who took care of him and despite having found great success in his life with his perfect school achievements, he is still stuck grieving and tormenting himself over feelings if uselessness, further enabled by his need to overachieve and be at the center of everything. Now that he's nearing graduation in his last year, he finds himself spiraling. He is convincinghimself that he and his friends should continue this school life forever, so that he can still feel like they're in Gardenview and he won't be abandoned and left purposeless once again. Though that's all but a paranoid dream, or is it? Who knows.
