Every being in this world has an element assigned to them at birth: light, fire, nature, ground or water

Light magic involves the manipulation of light to either enhance light or remove light. Removing light is often referred to as shadow magic.

Fire magic involves the manipulating temperature to either lower it and create ice or increase it and create fire. Most fire magic users can either do one or the other. Because of this it is usually referred to as ice magic for lowering temperatures and fire magic for once temperatures.

Nature magic is the manipulation of plant matter and for stronger users, controlling animals/beasts. Strangely, nature magic has never been able to control people.

Ground magic is the manipulation of the ground and metal for stronger users. Ground magic can only be used while being directly connected to the ground.

Water magic is the manipulation of water, pretty self explanatory. Stronger water magic users can control liquids that contain water in them such as blood or orange juice. Water magic users can also manipulate the temperature of water, but not on the same degree that fire magic users can.
