THE CRIME :The murder of a Chinese man, Chen Ling, in an abandoned warehouse on an isolated street. He was violently stabbed in the back.

The Victim: Chen Ling



46-year-old man with a clean, unsuspicious past who worked as an employee at a software company that developed applications. It is said that he lived a stable, quiet life with his wife, Ren, who was also his cousin. They married and lived happily together until he was offered a job in Britain, so he traveled there and settled down for years....He was found murdered at one in the morning on Tuesday in an abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of the city, in an abandoned neighborhood unfit for living. He had been violently stabbed and was lying face-down. Reports also stated that his eyes were strangely wide open, according to the forensic reports, as if he had seen something he was never supposed to see before his murder.

Lily Macbeth:



A young woman in her twenties, the murdered victim's neighbor. She lives with her grandmother in a modest house in a neighborhood of Middlesbrough. She studies English Literature at Teesside University. People say the girl excels in her studies and has no problems, but there are "rumors" about her having a strange aversion to men for an unknown reason. She is also mysterious and prefers to stay out of sight.

Julian Blackwood:



A delinquent like any other rebellious nineteen-year-old. He is known to live with his sick, bedridden mother in a simple apartment in the same neighborhood as the victim. He was the one who found the body with a friend of his named Bob, because he frequently goes to the warehouse, where he sells drugs and spends his nights drinking alcohol and with prostitutes.

Lolita François:



French by origin, she received a university scholarship to study at a university in Britain. It is said that she used to live in a poor French neighborhood called Dolfinier in Roubaix, and moved to Britain on her own to study archaeology at Teesside University. They see her as crazy; she has a gothic appearance, a mysterious personality, and works at a small shop in the neighborhood. It is said that she once had a heated argument with the victim because of a simple misunderstanding. Ling Ren:

They say she was deeply affected by the shock of her husband’s death, causing her to temporarily stop her charity work and stop attending prayer at church. She is a religious woman who deeply respects traditions and preserves her Chinese culture, both in her discipline and in the elegance of the way she speaks. Naturally, this puts her on the list of suspects, even though she was ruled out from the witnesses.

YOUR ASSISTANT : His name is Edward Van, a careless, handsome guy, basically just a rumor-collecting college kid. In short, he has pretty much everything that wouldn’t make him suitable as an assistant to a detective like you, but he’s good at drawing attention with his charm and gathering information surprisingly well.
