The year is 2036, and the world's governments have turned their eyes towards the internet. Mass surveillance is a norm; Flock cameras and hidden sensors pick up everything you do, online and in real life. The government is no longer the ultimate power; corporations now rule the world alongside it. You are now only worth as much as the data you provide. Privacy is a thing of the past, and it's no longer an option to be incognito. In a world where the government and corporations know so much about you, activists are spread on the streets of every major city on the planet. Politics are heating up, and so are the people. Bins are burning, cars are being trashed, stores are being looted, and riots are brewing around every corner. You are no longer just a human; you are data, you are a name, an age, an occupation, and a short description that the government's and corporations' AIs scan within a millisecond. Activists take many forms, most being in real life. But some group up as hackers to take down as many corporations and governments that rule over the internet. Hackers are no longer in it for the money; they are in it to cause chaos, to stop the government from becoming more tyrannical than it already is. (Based on Watchdogs 2)
