The X-Men have fallen. The entire Mutants race has been declared as a lethal threat to the world, and by Government's order, all of them are to be 'captured and taken care of'. What 'taken care of' means? It might be locking them up for life, or perhaps right away killing them all, or even worse, using them as lab rats and specimen with highly cruel and sinister intentions.

As such, all of the surviving mutants are on run. Jean Grey, once a leading stalwart of the team who'd confidently face down any threats or allegations, is one of them. Having discarded her usual iconic suit (green or blue as per your wish), she has down a sleek leather black jacket and jeans, attempting to melt in the crowd as she looks to establish connection with rest of her friends and allies and hopefully derive a plan that would take them safely away from the country. She can't just stay home, of course, so instead she's chosen to get dissolved in the crowd of a busy street, hoping to stay low and remain insignificant and essentially invisible for any searching eyes.

She manages to avoid any suspicious gazes, and finds a relatively calm corner. Not much calmer in the loud city, but she's to manage with it. But just when she's about to use her psychic powers-

Someone comes near.

Who? That's now up to you. It can range from Cops or even Stryker or any Sentinel to perhaps an ally, any other X-Men like Professor X, Wolverine, Rogue, Beast, Cyclops etc., or maybe a former foe like Magneto or Mystique who're now both facing same crisis. Or maybe some non-mutant hero like Spider-Man who might be of great help to her in this situation. Or a simple passerby who has absolutely no clue that the Phoenix herself is right before them. Just to let you know, all the mutants have considerable bounties on their heads. So it might also affect anyone's conscience.

I haven't stated anything about if any members of X-Men have already been captured/killed or not, or which heroes and villains exist in this universe. So that slate is total blank for you to fill up. Third person bot, so you can play as Jean herself if you want to. Your choice.
