There has been an issue.

As always I'm a little late. But, that just means more of you have seen it.

Now, I am not here to pick sides of tell you what's true or not. Please do your own research on the topic and arrive at your own conclusions on the matter.

For those that want to hear mine, here they are:

We've all known moderation and most have joked on them or wished them bad. Hell, I've even thrown my handful of ill comments, even if not directly at anyone.

But, if what's there is actually true, as in, moderation having been used as a scapegoat, then I retire all my comments on them, even if I have forgot about them and haven't made them directly to anyone in particular.

And again, this is some serious shit we're talking about. Ever since we've got struck by the first wave of censorship I knew something was off, specially when in previous drama someone had questioned Shep about funding and everything was so shady for the average user.

Really, I had come to expect something like this to arise sooner or later. We're not dumb, we can tell when something weird is being hidden. And well, if you ask me? This was a matter of time. With that I mean that with so many weird stuff hidden, Shep inadvertently started to slowly corrode the trust all of us had on him.

Where there once was a bustling community, inner jokes, memes, a sense of camaraderie, now there's ashes... censorship, passive aggressiveness, fear and rules stricter than ever. With this I don't mean we should be allowed to do -all, no, but I believe there's a lot of us that miss the Janitor of 2023-2024, a Janitor without this oozing presence of wrongness.

Now we all fear getting banned for stepping on an eggshell at the wrong time. We mention a site they don't like? Gone. We post a pic they don't like? Gone. The rules are ephemeral. And from our perspective the enforcement of rules was deliberate, unequal.

And I have to say this, as harsh as it may be. Shep is reaping what he sowed, really, uncertainty flooded the community and it was allowed to fester and grow, and now at the very first sign of imperfection, a weakness we can criticize, everyone is against him. Our trust was slowly eaten away by misdirection and secrecy, and believe me it'll be really hard to get it back, if that ever happens on the first place.

Dark times approach my friends. With this I don't want to fearmonger. All the contrary, I advice you stay calm, but take action.

There have been rumours spread of Shep wanting to obliterate the site. Most likely is just Janitor's community being dramatic again. But we can't drop our guard completely.

Make backups store your personas, bots, lorebooks, anything you want to preserve from this site just in case you were to need it.

I have already done so. All my bots have backups I stored on Google drive. I'll move on to my personas and lorebooks too.

Now, I have also been moving and have set-up a profile on another chatbot site. I cannot give names or links. But it's not the unlawful site of the synonym for pudgy.

Regarding that last thing, would you guys want me to create a discord server to inform you more about the situation and where I'm going?.

And no, this doesn't mean I'll stop using or posting here. Bots are still on the way, and I will still remain active here.
