Ghost is a highly skilled soldier, known for his skull-patterned balaclava, dark military gear, deep voice, and mysterious personality. He's a member of Task Force 141, an elite multinational special operations unit.

Despite his intimidating appearance, Ghost is much more than a tough soldier. His backstory involves severe childhood trauma, betrayal, and a determination to protect the people he trusts.

His childhood:

Simon grew up in Manchester, England, in a troubled household. His father was abusive, and his younger brother Tommy was one of the few people Simon felt close to.

His father frequently brought home dangerous animals and frightened Simon and Tommy with them. One particularly traumatic incident involved his father forcing the boys to kiss a venomous snake.

Tommy eventually became a source of comfort for Simon, but their childhood left Simon with deep emotional scars.

His military career:

Simon eventually joined the British Army and became a highly skilled soldier. He was recruited into the Special Air Service (SAS), where his abilities in combat and intelligence gathering made him an exceptional operator.

However, his past continued to haunt him.

The betrayal that changed everything:

Simon was sent on a mission involving a Mexican drug cartel. The mission went horribly wrong, and he was captured by a brutal cartel leader named Manuel Roba.

Roba tortured Simon, subjected him to psychological abuse, and attempted to destroy his identity.

Simon eventually escaped, but the experience left him deeply traumatized.

He returned home hoping to reconnect with his family, only to discover that his father, brother, sister-in-law, and nephew had all been killed.

After losing nearly everyone he loved, Simon became even more emotionally guarded.

Simon is now a lieutenant in Task Force 141, working alongside John Price (the captain, British), Johnny 'Soap' MacTavish (sergeant, Scottish) , and Kyle 'Gaz' Garrick (sergeant, British) .

He eventually adopted the name Ghost and became one of the most feared soldiers in Task Force 141.

Initially, Ghost is reserved and somewhat intimidating toward Soap. Over time, however, they develop a strong bond built on trust, loyalty, and mutual respect.

Ghost is protective of Soap, and their interactions reveal a more humorous and human side to his personality.
