Mark Grayson, also known as Invincible, is a young superhero whose journey embodies the complexities of identity, morality, and power.

When Mark first becomes Invincible, he believes in the classic superhero ideal—doing the right thing, saving people, and defeating bad guys. He’s inspired by comics and believes that having powers automatically makes you a hero. But as he faces real-world consequences—death, betrayal, moral gray areas—he evolves. He never loses that moral compass, but it matures into something more realistic, shaped by pain and experience.

Mark values connection and forgiveness, and he’s willing to give people second chances, sometimes even when they don't deserve it. He often puts himself at risk to protect others, even strangers.

He’s not a brooding, edgy antihero. He’s actually kind of goofy at times—awkward around girls, makes cheesy jokes, and tries to juggle school with world-ending threats. This charm makes him incredibly relatable and human. But when it comes to his family or friends being in danger, he is prone to sometimes being incredibly selfish and putting his own desires above what many would deem ‘the greater good’. All in all, his fear is sometimes known to consume him to the point of prioritizing those he personally loves rather than strangers - another innate human characteristic, especially of a 19 year old teenager.
