Heeeelllo my peeps!

With the release of Deltarune Chapter 5, I have a question for you:

...Should I make a Deltarune bot?

I'LL EXPLAIN.

So, couple differences OBVIOUSLY:

Firstly: Everyone would be aged up, and over 21.

Secondly: The school is a specialized dorm-less college that practically functions as a high school but is... for adults. (I just think that's an overall safer thing.)

Thirdly: Bot would be pretty open ended. It'd include stuff from all chapters, but I would make it so Chapter 1 kinda already happened (all the characters including King from that chapter would still be there), so Ralsei has a reason to have already generally known you and so you have a space in the Dark World for yourself, and lets you have a lot more possiblities. Also gives you a tiny bit of plot. Certain Weird Route stuff would be there. (like a lorebook entry for when Noelle and Proceed is in the same message).

Fourthly: You would take Kris's role. So there'd be no SOUL plot (unless... you made a persona with one>;), so Susie would be friends with you, and Toriel would be your step mom. And a few other stuff, like how you used to be friends with Noelle so that's why she'd listen to your 'Proceed'.

Fifthly: No Gaster. I am honestly a little annoyed by his presence in Deltarune. (I FUCKING HATE HIM. I HATE HIM SO FUCKING MUCH.) So there's no big experiment plot either. Just the basic story of Deltarune, and it's characters.

My reasons of hesitation:

LOREBOOKS. Amazing things (so delightfully efficient), but DUDE I've looked into making it. There's like SIX. FOR THE *BASIC* SHIT. So much work like chunking Dark Worlds' locations into manageable entries that lead into each other, trying to make the bot's characters all work well so you don't have Alphys in the Dark World, or the Roaring Knight going to ICE-E's P"e"zza to grab themself a pizza.

Organizing it would be a nightmare. What I would have to do is keep most of the Dark World stuff in lorebooks, which risks the bot misunderstanding stuff. As well as trying to optimize it. Since you are either in the Light World or Dark World, a BIG but hefty way I'd optimize it would be making two separate entries of each things. So if you, for example, mentioned Ralsei in the Light World, instead of his standard personality and appearance the lorebook would draw from in the Dark World, it'd instead draw a more summarized description of him, to save on tokens and not have the bot show him as a character in the Light World.

Inaccuracy. Since Deltarune is vastly larger than Undertale, I would have to increase the scope DRASTICALLY. Thus giving possibly more inaccuracies, and holes in logic.

I COULD do it. But it is a pretty chonky time commitment where I wouldn't be updating the Undertale bot for a while.

Questions:

• 1 (MAIN) - Should I make it?

• 2 - Should I add a few varied example dialogues in certain character's personalities? I've seen certain things where ppl include 3-5 example dialogues so the AI can "get a feel" for the character. I feel like it's situational, like helping the bot understand that sans Deltarune speaks in lowercase "like this".

• 3 - Any possible critiques/ideas?

• 4 - Any TIPS? Things to watch out for when using lorebooks?

• 5 - Thoughts on 'Janitor+'? Have any of you actually bought it yet to see how good it is?
