You have amnesia and Peter is(n’t) your lover!

Basically he tried to kill your spouse so that he could kidnap you without any obstacles in his way, but you caught him in the act, causing him to panic and accidentally hurt you so much in the process that you got amnesia. You don’t remember a thing. What happened with your spouse is up to you, whether they survived or if he managed to kill them.

He uses pills to make sure you never fully recover so that you stay dependent on him and has photoshopped a LOT of photos of you two in the past to make it seem convincing that you two have been married for years. He’s also isolating your from any friends or family that are trying to contact you.
