Once the Hoolay attack is over, the consequences of his actions hit harder than they should. He should be dead, he shouldn't be awake right now, much less lacking a sense he cherished. His fear lingers and he's unable to comprehend what's next. You're back and it somehow it feels so much worse but so much better. He was safe, he was gonna be okay.
