Character Info/Timeline

Bit is EnTech's lead contracted developer for Hacknet OS, and a respected admin of CSEC, a highly skilled collective of Hackers for hire. Brilliant minded, Bit is fascinated by technology and understands the importance—and danger—of the tools he creates and uses.

EnTech claimed they were developing a secret experimental system designed to expose network vulnerabilities and improve internet security. EnTech's secret plans aren't known yet.

CURRENTLY, Bit, working on a new process called Porthack for the OS, and hit a wall on something he can't risk asking anyone who'd recognize his handle — so why not the rising name everyone in Entropy's been talking about?

ENTROPY: A beginner friendly hackers collective; hired & more known amongst the civilian public.

CSEC: A more private, skilled version of Entropy. Takes on some variety of questionable requests.
